The term “screw” is a general category of fastener designed to screw or boar into a material or to be paired with a connecting female part. Screws generally have a threaded rod and flat or oval head with a cut-out, allowing for insertion of a tool attachment used to quickly and efficiently fasten the screw into its mating part or material.
