Shim Kits
Shims are produced from a variety of materials, including metals and plastics, and are used to fill small spaces between objects to add stability to mechanical units which regularly move or rotate. A shim kit is a collection of shims in either one or multiple sizes, collated into one box or “kit” for easy accessibility as needed.
Our standard slotted shim kits are produced using stainless steel and range in size from 2” x 2” to 8” x 8”. However, as a custom component manufacturer, MW can manufacture custom shims and shim-related products using various materials, finishes, and secondary processes.
