Jack Screws
The standard 3/16” hex jack screw is often used to fasten cable connectors in electronic equipment. Jack screws can also be used to connect two connector halves. A jack screw set generally includes two flat washers, a lock washer, and a nut. Hex jack screws can be manufactured to meet specific industry standards and can be customized for particular end-uses.

Jack Screws Overview & Characteristics
Jack screws are generally produced in standard sizes from steel materials, though MW Components can customize screws with specialty materials and dimensions. These screws have a hexagonal head and a threaded body and are often used as cable connectors in computers or other electronic hardware.

Jack Screws Manufacturing
MW Component’s jack screws are generally produced using steel with zinc plate per ASTM-B-633 (yellow chromate) with thread lengths ranging from 3/16″ to 3/4″ and standard body diameter at 3/16″ hex and overall body length of 3/16″ with 4-40 threads. Both standard and metric versions are available.
