Similar to swage-mounted standoffs and spacers, chassis fasteners are connected by swaging the component into place and intended for permanent fixture to a surface. These fasteners are unique due to their square shape and the parallel alignment of the thread to the mounting surface which creates new connection points that cannot be achieved with other types of fasteners.
