Custom Metal Tubing
Custom metal tubing is produced through bending, forming, or coiling, generally using a form with manipulation through temperature control or using specialized equipment.
As a premier custom tubing manufacturer, MW Components produces custom metal tubing, including custom tube assemblies and custom coil assemblies for various industries and applications. Industries where custom metal tubing proves to be most useful, include oil and gas, automotive, agricultural, medical, outdoor power equipment, and wind and solar power.
CUSTOM MANUFACTURING
Custom Metal Tubing
The tube bending and forming process is tailored to the specified application, requiring specialized machinery to perform the desired function—meaning accuracy in design and development is key. That’s where MW can bridge the gap. We have decades of experience developing products for multiple industries, have a team of design and engineering experts, and have numerous facilities specializing in all forms of manufacturability. These capabilities combined, ensure that we can create the exact component you need within the ranges you require.

TYPES OF CUSTOM TUBE BENDING AND FABRICATION
Tube Bending vs. Tube Winding
Custom Metal Alloy Coil Tube Bending
Custom tube bending for metal alloys is the process of creating bends at any angle and axis in at least one location. MW Components can produce a variety of custom tubing configurations. A custom-bent metal tube can include any number of simple configurations, from a single 90° bend at the center to a 35° bend to one side at the end of the tube. More complex custom metal tubing could look like a succession of bends of multiple degrees at several points along the length of the metal tube.

Custom Metal Alloy Coil Tube Winding
Winding for custom metal tubing is when metal alloy tube is wound in a continuous loop where the coils stack on top of each other (with or without space between coils), creating a shape similar to a spring. Typically metal tubing is wound in a circular pattern; however, as a custom tubing manufacturer, we can work with your team to determine the necessary coil shape for your application.
