Mr. Amato most recently served as President & Chief Executive Officer of TriMas Corporation, a $1 billion company with global facilities serving the aerospace, consumer goods, and industrial markets, from July 2016 through June 2025. While at TriMas, Mr. Amato, through the use of strategic acquisitions and key divestitures, and operating in a culture of kaizen, unlocked value by transforming the company from a broad-based industrial manufacturer to a company focused predominantly in two platforms, Aerospace and Packaging. Prior to his time at TriMas, Mr. Amato served as Chief Executive Officer of Metaldyne, LLC and subsequently as Co-President of Metaldyne Performance Group, which American Securities took public in 2014 and subsequently sold to American Axle in 2017. Mr. Amato also currently serves as a Director and Chair of the Compensation Committee at AMETEK.
