More than just sales.
Bonded Inventory
For qualified customers, MidWest Components will acquire and maintain inventory for future releases
against your order, protecting against availability problems or price increases. To us, "bonded
inventory" means actual product, on our shelves, reserved for the customer who has placed non-cancelable
orders against it.
Scheduled Releases
For qualified customers, we will schedule releases over a period of time at a guaranteed price, even in
fluctuating markets. In practice, this usually means we acquire sufficient product to fill all releases
when the order is placed, guaranteeing that we will deliver to your schedule requirements on time at the
agreed price.
Third party services.
MidWest Components has long established relationships with test facilities and component processors. We
can arrange quick turnaround on testing and packaging services and build the cost of extra services into
the component price or bill services separately. We don't markup services and will identify the service
provider and send you any documentation produced, such as test reports.
Repackaging
Parts are sometimes only available packaged in a way that's incompatible with your manufacturing
requirements. For example, your process may use tape and reel, but critical parts are only available in
tubes. We can arrange to have parts repackaged by qualified repackagers.
Testing/Screening
Industrial and commercial temperature grade parts differ only in the screening done by the manufacturer.
Industrial temperature grade parts are often difficult to locate. We can procure commercial temperature
grade parts and have them screened to industrial temperature grade standards by a qualified test facility.
Fallout is usually minimal.
MidWest Components buys from trusted sources and specifies recent date codes in factory packaging where
possible. If you have special requirements or if there is any concern about the quality of parts, we can
arrange for functional or parametric testing at a qualified test facility.
